Crescent Moon Alliance

The cruiser "Crescent Moon" and the frigate "Twilight" hold a variety of specialised troops to deal with any difficulty the Alliance may find in its path.

Pilots
A variety of pilots are needed to provide starfighter escort for the "Crescent Moon", the "Twilight" and the other ships in the Alliance. They can also provide support to ground troops, in airspeeders as well as in starfighters.

Rebel fleet troopers
Originally the uniform issued to the Royal Guards at the Court of Alderaan, many of these outfits found their way into the Rebel Alliance. These Royal Guard uniforms, being unfit for ground combat, continue to serve as uniforms for guards and other security personnel throughout the Rebel Alliance.

Rebel commando
These elite soldiers are the best ground troops the Rebel Alliance has. Being specially trained to infiltrate planets and perform missions such as espionage, assassination, sabotage and demolition, these troops often find themselves in the harshest combat situations, with no one to rely on but their comrades.

Jedi
Once a proud order known and respected throughout the Galaxy, only a scant few remain. The Lord of the Sith Darth Vader is still hunting for them, so in a last effort to evade certain death at the hand of the Dark Side, some Jedi have sought refuge in the "Crescent Moon Alliance".
Unfortunately, this causes the CMA to attract a lot of unwanted attention.

Civilians
With the young Hutt nesting on the "Twilight" a lot of civilian traffic comes onto the ship when its staged at a pacified planet. Every now and then, the "Crescent Moon Alliance" leaves a location, moving to a new trouble-spot, with civilians still onboard. The unlucky sods then have to stay amidst the Hutt's dancers, musicians, bartenders,... never being able to go home again.
