Welcome on the Rebel Alliance cruiser "Crescent Moon".

The "Crescent Moon" was named after the moon of the planet Meian in the Outer Rim Territories. Due to a peculiar set of circumstances, the moon of Meian was always lit in the same way, hence earning its nickname. In the early years of the Rebel Alliance, the moon was selected as the site of an outpost, which as a consequence of the lunar cycle was always shred in darkness. A few years ago, the Galactic Empire found the outpost and razed it to the ground. The Rebels took heavy losses, but managed to load most essential materials and goods onto freighters. They had only one big starship stationed at the Crescent Moon, a Nebulon-B frigate named the "Twilight". Despite overwhelming Imperial Forces, the "Twilight" was able to blast her way out and protect the freighters as she did. With help from the handful of starfighters based at the Meian outpost, the frigate and most freighters were able to safely jump to hyperspace and evade capture or destruction.
However, many loyal hands were lost on the ground. The battle became known as the Flight of the "Twilight".

A few weeks later, Rebel Alliance Command got its hands on a brand new Liberator-class cruiser and to commemorate the Rebels who fell during this battle, this new ship was named the "Crescent Moon". The frigate "Twilight" was assigned to it as an escort ship, together with a few smaller support ships. The Crescent Moon task-force soon found itself doing a lot of solo-missions in dangerous, hardly known territories. Because it operates far away from the front lines, the task-force has become an autonomous unit and a refuge for idealists who seek to confront the Galactic Empire and have little or no family ties left on their home-world. During one of its missions, a young Hutt found his home on the "Twilight", where he now runs a small business to provide the task-group with additional funds. It is said even a few Jedi outcasts have found their way to the "Crescent Moon Alliance".

Now, the task-force is know as the "Crescent Moon Alliance" and can be called upon to perform specialty missions in difficult circumstances.

In 2006, the "Crescent Moon Alliance" (CMA) was created as a sub-group of the Belgian Costume Division and a sister-group to the Belgian 501st Garrison (501stBG). Whereas the 501stBG accepts all Imperial, bounty hunter and villain costumes, the CMA accepts all Rebels, Jedi, civilians and other costumes that do not fall under 501st rules. The CMA is part of Dewback Wing Europe and thrives to deliver a high standard in costume and prop work.

All groups mentioned above are Star Wars fan clubs, who make replicas of costumes and props from the movies, comics and games. We are tied to similar groups all over the world and regularily do events in Belgium as well as abroad. Because of the diversity in costumes, the CMA usually deploys to an event, together with the 501stBG.
Together, they bring the audience a full Star Wars feel.

Feel free to navigate the site, take a look at our costumes and props and contact us if you have any questions or want to become part of the family, contact
